Total Safety Consulting (TSC) hosted an informative Fire Safety Awareness breakfast at the New York County Lawyers’ Association Building.
With presentations from Louis Cendagorta, FDNY Chief of the CDA Unit and Chris O’Donnell, TSC Fire Safety Supervisor, attendees had the opportunity to hear from the experts and be given an overview about the new NYC rule impacting the FDNY requirements specific to portable fire extinguisher tags and practical information about construction site fire awareness, prevention and protection. The new NYC rule updates the requirements specific to portable fire extinguisher tags and commercial kitchen hood exhaust systems. The public also had the opportunity to ask the Chief questions and received fire safety suggestions for their businesses.
